Orange Lavender Bundt Cake
Ingredients
Orange Bundt Cake
- 2 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 3 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (Melted)
- 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
- 1/3 Cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tbsp Orange Zest
- 2 Large Eggs
Lavender Glaze
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F and prepare a 10 cup bundt pan with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, sift your flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add the orange zest to the sugar and with your finger or with a spoon blend it together.
- Next, add the orange sugar and the rest of the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and whisk until combined.
- Add mixture to your prepared bundt pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool completely before removing from the pan
- To make the glaze, add the powdered sugar, lavender extract, vanilla and half & half and using a mixer or some good old elbow grease. Beat until combined.
- Drizzle the top of your cooled cake and enjoy!
