Strawberry Glaze Confetti Bundt Cake

Ingredients

Bundt Cake

  • 1 Classic White Duncan Hines box cake
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 5 Tbsp Sour Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 Cup Sprinkles

Strawberry Icing

  • 1/4 Cup Cream Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Cup + 2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 5 Tbsp Pureed Strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp Milk
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

Bundt Cake

  1. Preheat Oven to 350F and prepare your bundt pan with non stick spray.
  2. Make sure all your wet ingrediets are room temp. It allows the batter to come together smoothly and beautifully. In a bowl whisk together all of the dry and wet ingredients until it is combined well about 2 minutes. Then add the sprinkles and give it a gentle mix.
  3. Add batter to the prepared bundt pan and give it a couple taps to make sure it spreads evenly. Bake for 25-30 mins or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow cake to cool completely.
  5. To make your glaze youre also going to need your ingredients to be room temp.
  6. In a stand mixer or hand held mixer with a whisk attachment beat all the ingredients for the glaze on low speed until its mixed well. Then bring your speed to med-high until there are no lumps left from the butter and cream cheese.
  7. Pour your glaze over your cooled cake and top with some chopped strtawberries.
  8. I highly reccomend a scoop of ice cream with a slice of this cake it just goes well so amazingly.
