Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake
Sponge Cake
- 1 Box Duncan Hines Devils food cake box.(2 if you want a tall cake.)
- 1 Cup water
- 1/3 Cup Oil
- 3 Eggs
Peanut Butter Buttercream
- 1 1/2 Cups Unsalted Butter
- 3/4 Cup Peanut Butter
- 3 Cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Milk
- 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
Instructions
Sponge Cake
- Preheat Oven to 350F and prepare 2-8" pans or 3-6" pans with Non stick spray and parchment paper.
- Follow all the instructions from your chocolate cake box.
Peanut Butter Buttercream
- In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment beat your butter and peanut butter on high speed for 3-5 minutes.
- On low speed add your sugar one cup at time. Add your vanilla to the milk and add the milk inbetween sugar additions. Once blended bring speed to Med-High and mix for 3-5 mins until soft and fluffy.
