How good are these French Toast? French toast are the perfect breakfast. They’re very popular in my home. I whip them up and make them in so many different ways. But we will get to that when I share with you guys on later all different toppings and fillings you could dress these up with! These are gone in minutes when I make them for my boys!

Ingredients

  • Your choice of Texas Toast or French Brioche Bread
  • 3/4 Cup Half and Half
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • Pinch of Salt

On a Separate Bowl Mix Together and set aside

  • 2 Tbsp Brown
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat a Pan or Griddle to Med Heat when pan is hot do a light coating with butter or Butter Spray.
  2. Mix together all of the ingredients from the first list
  3. When your pan is hot soak your bread on the Custard mix and before placing it on the pan sprinkle on one side with the Cinnamon Sugar mix we set aside. Then place on pan and sprinkle the top side with your cinnamon sugar mix.
  4. Let cook on each side til a golden brown.

French Toast are easy to make. The magic comes in how you serve them and in your toppings. I mostly make them and top them with berries and some whipped cream but the possibilities are endless. Tips

  1. I always get the very best result on my French toast if I leave my bread at least a couple of hours to stale on my counter. This strategy helps when soaking your bread and the overall result of your French toast. I highly recommend it.
