Your choice of Texas Toast or French Brioche Bread
3/4 Cup Half and Half
3 Large Eggs
1/3 Cup Pumpkin Puree
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp Ginger Powder
1/8 Tsp Nutmeg
Pinch of Cloves
Pinch of Salt
On a Separate Bowl Mix Together and set aside
2 Tbsp Brown
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
Heat a Skillet to Med/ High Heat.
Whisk All ingredients from first list on a bowl til well combined.
Soak your bread generously but do not over soak.
Sprinkle your brown sugar/ sugar and cinnamon mix on each side of the soaked bread.
Cook on each side until a light brown.
Tips
I always get the very best result on my French toast if I leave my bread at least a couple of hours to stale on my counter. This strategy helps when soaking your bread and the overall result of your French toast. I highly recommend it.
