I am obcessed with making peanut butter buttercream I mean the smell is just amazing. Now add oreos to it and you're on a whole new level of indugement!

Ingredients

Churro Donuts

  • 1 Box Duncan Hines Classic White Cake
  • 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Buttermik
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla

Peanut Butter Oreo Buttercream

  • 1 1/2 Cups Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Milk
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 Cup Oreo Crumbs

Instructions

  1. Make Sure all of your wet ingredients are room temperature so they incorporate well.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350F Degrees.
  3. Prepare your cupcake pans with the cupcake liners.
  4. Follow the instructions from your cake box.
  5. Fill your cupcake liners about 2/3 of the way.
  6. Bake for 17-20 Mins or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Peanut Butter Oreo Buttercream
  1. Make sure your butter is room temperature.
  2. In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment beat your butter and peanut butter for about 5 mins.
  3. Add your sugar on low speed one cup at a time.
  4. Add vanilla and milk.
  5. Scrape the sides and bottom of your bowl and add salted caramel. Next, whisk for another 5 minutes until creamy. Scrape the sides and bottom of your bowl add cookie crumbs and mix for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Once evrything is ready pipe buttercream onto your cupcakes. Top with oreo crumbs and an areo cookie!
